An informed patient will make an informed decision. When meeting with other healthcare providers it is important to know what questions to ask when considering replacing missing teeth. Below is a list that may prove beneficial:

1. How many teeth do I need in one jaw for proper chewing and cosmetics?
2. How many implants are required to restore an entire jaw?
3. Do you routinely use a CT scan to plan implant surgery and if not, why not?
4. What complications can occur if I do not have a CT scan?
5. Why is it important that the oral surgeon and the restorative dentists be involved with both the planning and placement of the implants?
6. I have a friend that had implants placed by a surgeon and her dentist said she could not make teeth on those implants to meet my friend’s expectation and satisfaction.  Both dentists blamed each other.  How do I know that will not happen to me?

21. Do you have a dental laboratory in your facility, and can I get a tour and meet your lab tech?
22. How many dental implant cases has your lab done, including All-on-4 cases?
23. Can I speak directly to several patients you have treated with full jaw implant-supported bridges?
